Seeing as today is world mental health day, which in itself is a part of Mental Health Awareness week I thought that I'd type up a quick post in an attempt to let everyone out there know that they aren't alone. The topic of mental health still seems to be a touchy subject even in 2014 which, to be honest, is pretty disgusting, there's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of and it should be treated with the correct awareness and respect if you ask me. Having dealt with various things over the years I know that it's incredibly hard sometimes and the journey that you go on sometimes feels like you're fighting a losing battle but please just remember that you aren't alone and despite what you may be currently thinking, things do and can get better! In the wise words of Professor Dumbledore, "happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light," now I don't know about you but I think that quote is quite relevant. Stay strong, free hugs all around!
